Malboros in Omega Ruins are the worst. Thankfully there is First Strike on Auron's weapon. Saved my ass so many times.
EDIT: FFX-2 has plenty of awful cutscenes outside the airship. The game is nearly unplayable due to how awful everything but the gameplay is.
