First half or third of season 2 isn't too much of a departure from before. For the latter half, it depends on whether or not you can enjoy absolutely absurd plot twists. Constantly. For instance, a fun game to engage in while you're watching is to guess which characters that get killed actually stay dead.
In fact, a good game to start now is to guess which characters that you were pretty sure were dead at the end of season 1 make an appearance in season 2. Doubly so if you haven't watched the first opening for season 2, it spoils one of them.
