Just FYI, GamesRadar gave Sonic Colors a 7/10. I'm not sure if something on MOM's level of critical acclaim is supposed to signify "this franchise is making a comeback!", although then again this is the franchise that went from "SEGA's shining mascot" to "worst game of the decade" in 15 years so whatever.
Fan reception of Colors was far stronger than a Sonic game had gotten in a long time, which means more to me in the context of the discussion than what GR thought of the game.
