Am I not the only one who's constantly going back and forth in and out of the house? Even to do things like garden, get the mail, walk across the street, take the dog for a walk, all that stuff. Sometimes it's just easier to walk back and forth.
It takes five seconds to lock/unlock a door. Much less of an inconvenience than being robbed/raped/murdered.
