This is my greatest NFL team ever.
Whelp.
If you don't remember, the Chiefs started 9-0 this year. This was the year Priest Holmes won every fantasy league. The year Dante Hall was absolutely ridiculous, with 4 consecutive games with a return TD, most famously the 93 yard punt return against Denver (with a little help from an impressive double block in the back >_>) Then we screw it up and go 4-3 in the final 7 games and blow the #1 seed, and play the Colts in the Divisional Round.
This would famously be the first puntless game in NFL history, as we could do absolutely nothing to stop them. My dad and I are pained to this day by the two plays that cost us the game essentially. Morten Andersen missing a 31 yard field goal, and Holmes fumbling on the 2nd play of the 2nd half.
I really don't remember how I reacted, but I assume it wasn't pleasant. This kinda continues the pattern that the Rangers had in that they continuously lose to the same team in the Playoffs, with the Chiefs having lost to the Colts 3 times out of 4 trips in a 12 year period.
