There will never be a Heel Turn like this because wrestling will never mean this much again. Hulk Hogan can't exist because people just don't get attached to heroes anymore. We're too educated, too jaded. We've seen it all and guys like CM Punk are the only thing we can hold onto.
Look at this reaction: People are legitimately upset. It isn't some staged reaction, it isn't scripted or planned. People are broken hearted, kids are crying, fans are PISSED. The reaction is visceral, the feelings tangible. Go watch the episodes of Nitro AFTER this event. Fans still threw stuff in the ring. We loved the NWO because they reminded you that you cared about this. They pissed you off because you loved it. They can throwing was a symbol of our affections. It let them know they were doing their jobs better than we could've imagined.
When John Cena turns Heel, and trust me, he will, I hope we can reach 1/5th of this reaction. I want to see little kids crying, I want fans rushing the ring in anger. I want it to feel like chaos has let loose and anything can happen.
