Don't worry, Anna, Tepig will prove to be one of Ash's most useless Pokemon, right in front of Torkoal and Lapras.
You say that, but from where I'm at right now, aside from Pikachu (whom it's tied with), it's beaten more Pokemon during trainer battles than any of Ash's other Pokemon in BW. Of course it's possible that'll change in the nine episodes I haven't seen yet, but just figured I should point that out.
