I really like Civ early and mid game. late game it feels like a chore though. I hated cycling through like 50 cities and setting new production constantly in 4 especially. the less cities you have to manage, the more fun it is.
You do know you can just put them on automatic, right? <.<
Late game you really shouldn't have to micromanage almost anything because you should have everything set up certain ways anyway, and then auto management should just play to your strengths. I've never had it do me wrong and I've played up to like difficulty 8 (whatever that one is, I forget).
