The pacing really is not "fine". I get that it's a mini-series, but the writers are rushing through the plot and botching critical elements in the process. In my eyes, that is not "fine".
And Asami has the emotional range of a piece of plywood. If you want a generic character that looks cool and handles what should be devastating situations in completely unrealistic ways then sure, Asami is your girl. I, on the other hand, would prefer if she just completely exploded on Mako or Korra in "hell hath no fury" fashion. It would make her a lot less boring. She is seriously making me miss Katara- Katara, My Immortal. Katara!
