Jack doesn't seem that creative at first glance, but he really is suitable. He took medical knowledge to an extreme and twisted it into a way of killing people. He know everything about the human body, and how to destroy it from the inside out, or from the outside in. And he can be considered a heroic spirit of sorts... Vaguely.
