What did Harrison do, exactly? McCartney and Lennon were the creative geniuses, Ringo was the bro, and Harrison was... sort of "just there." That's my perception of it, at least.
That's kind of the image that the music press pushes, but it couldn't be further from the truth. George and Paul constantly pushed all of George's songs that he wrote to the background to elevate their own songs.
