I was a little confused as to why RVD's thirst for vengeance for being put on the shelf for months was satisfied by pinning Gunner for a 3-count in a standard match, but I guess that's a credit to RVD's zen.
That has always been a problem with wrestling to be honest.
Even No DQ and unsanctioned matches end with pinfalls eventually. Wouldn't you want to prolong your opponents punishment and not really care rather you won or lost? At the very least, more of these matches should end by submission.
