Do US citizens ever throw their hands up and despair at the state of their political system? I enjoy the US politics just for the laughs, but they actually hold sway over your lives in nearly every way. The only downside is that it has a trickle down effect into Canada due to shared things like economies and the like.
Conservatives do. Liberals don't.
