-You can refight trainers. Even in Kanto. If you lose to a Gym leader, you can face them again and again until you defeat them.
-Isn't pokemon evolution more akin to maturation than evolution? You can't for example hatch a Blastoise I'm pretty sure.
-If pokemon don't breed in the wild, where do wild pokemon come from?
