On the subject of Other M, how would Board 8 generally feel about Platinum Games making a Metroid game?

just popping in to question how the f*** Majora's Mask is anyone's least favorite Zelda
It has very, very little of what I want in my Zelda games, and I don't like the three-day system or emphasis on sidequests. I don't dislike Majora's Mask or anything, but I don't really understand how people consider it to be in the upper echelon of the series.
Also, one of the YouTube users I mainly watch LPs from is a huge Zelda fan (Ocarina of Time is his favorite game aside from the Shenmue games and Sonic 3 & Knuckles) and he has never beaten Majora's Mask for the same reasons I've detailed above. This user also really likes the following games:
Star Fox Adventures
Sonic Heroes
Heavenly Sword
Star Ocean: The Last Hope
White Knight Chronicles
Metroid: Other M
And dislikes the following games:
Half-Life
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Final Fantasy X
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Grand Theft Auto IV
Fallout 3
Tales of Vesperia
