*Family Business

*Spaceship
*Home
*Runaway
*The Joy
*Touch the Sky
*We Don't Care
*Through the Wire
*Who Gon' Stop Me
*All Falls Down
*Roses - This is one of Kanye's best emotional songs. The first verse, with barely anything behind it, is one of my favorites of his, and when the drums and everything come in for the chorus, it's great, like a release of tension built up in the first verse. Second verse is similar, but with more going on behind the verse, and then more joy in the chorus. The bridge and outro are good, but kinda make the song feel uneven, so I have to dock it a few points for that, even though it is otherwise excellent.
*Jesus Walks
*All of the Lights
*Flashing Lights - Here we have the best song on Graduation, I think. That production is so lush, so gorgeous. Kanye's more on point on this than he is on any other track on the album, and Dwele (has he done anything notable since this?) handles his duties on the chorus with aplomb.
*Blame Game - A great song, and a great comedy bit, but the two together diminishes the track. If the Chris Rock thing had been put in as a separate track, Blame Game would be the second or third best song on MBDTF. It's still top 5, I think, but it's a weird thing where the whole is less than the sum of its parts.
*N****s in Paris - The presence of Blades of Glory - itself not that great a movie, mind you - actually makes this song more entertaining. It's just such an absurd movie to drop a sample from. Lyrically, Jay is better than Kanye, but 'Ye has some great lines ("That s*** cray" is not one of them >_>). The beat, like most of Watch The Throne, is top notch.
*Chain Heavy
*Love Lockdown
*The New Workout Plan
*Power
*Two Words - It's got a strong enough beat and good guests, but isn't really outstanding in any category. Edit: Upon further consideration, this is getting bumped up a few spots.
*We Major
*Amazing
*Good Life
*Late - Late is indeed Kanye's funniest song, and it's got a pretty good beat to it. A solid song, but also a bonus song for a reason, I think.
*Drive Slow - The best thing Paul Wall has ever done, but that's not saying much. Great, simple beat. Love that RZA snare tone. Kanye is good on this song - laid back, easy in his delivery - but it doesn't feel like a great song, even though it's really technically sound on every level. Weird.
*Diamonds from Sierra Leone - Really solid. Not much else to say. Not sure why it was a single, though.
*Illest Motherf***er Alive - The beat doesn't quite go where I'd like it to go, but it's not bad. Kanye's flow is a little too downtempo for me, but lyrically he's sharper than he is on most other WTT tracks - "Got staples in my dick / Why? F***in' centerfolds" is a great goddamn line. Jay-Z's verse is better than Kanye's, but Jay's midtempo delivery isn't as good as when he's a bit faster.
*Devil in a New Dress
*Made in America
*Hey Mama
*Monster
*School Spirit
*The Glory
*Never Let Me Down
*Mercy
