This is a stupid outlook. I'm not going out of my way to be an ass, but there's no reason whatsoever to be nice to people who treat you like ****. Again, nobody automatically "deserves" to be treated nicely.
Also, I like how people here are saying you should be nice to others even if you dislike them (because it's "not hard" and "doesn't cost you anything") while they're simultaneously being rude and offensive to Ayuyu. The hypocrisy is amazing.
