not because its actually funny or witty or anything, but because it shows just how pathetic the people who make these things are.
for those lucky enough to have no clue what i am talking about, the "socially awesome" penguin is one of those stupid 4chan/reddit/9gag memes (AKA the images that have big white text imposed on them describing stupid s*** regarding the picture or w/e). this one in particular is supposed to show the socially "awesome" moments that internet obsessed people on 4chan have. there also is the "socially awesome awkward penguin" variation where the interneter starts by doing something "socially awesome" but ends up f***ing it up
the hilarious s*** is that nothing posted in these memes is actually "socially awesome", its all just normal everyday things that to these people are apparently huge victories when they do them. look at this s***
