if we did that we would think our characters were moving before we pushed any buttons
our nervous system + brain has like half a second of delay before it can synthesize information? something like that. I remember there being a test where they wired people up so that brain impulses would activate a button as people decided to push it. and that the result of that was that people thought the button was pushed before they decided to do it. crazy!
