Hell yeah, Nier. I never remember it when I'm coming up with "favorite x games of this generation" or anything, but it really is up there. Voice acting is pretty top notch, too.
Favorite soundtrack is definitely Wild Arms. It's one of the few games I can sit and listen to the soundtrack on its own like an album. Past that, Nier, Chrono Trigger/Cross, and FF7/9, and Xenoblade come to mind.
Which also serves as a pretty similar list to "my favorite RPGs" -- guess soundtracks are pretty important to my experience.
