He pulled 95+% of African-Americans in 08. You think cutting that down to 90% is going to lose him any states that he wasn't already going to lose?
You know you can lose voters without them voting for the other main party candidate, right? That still hurts you.
Even he were the undisputed best president ever, black voter turnout won't be what it was in '08. It's not impossible to hurt that further.
Having said that, it might not make a huge difference. I was just saying your original point is not necessarily 100% certain.
