This was a great "movie".
The fact that its based on comic book characters is largely irrelevant.
as a comic book fan, i have to disagree with that last statement
only a movie based on awesome comic book characters can pull of what should be a logistical and financial nightmare for movie studios and execs and do it this good
the only other movie crossovers we get are monster mash-ups which never really go past fun schlock without the star power and production values (and the attraction for great writers and directors)
comics have been doing crossovers for decades and they've been doing it the best which makes for a great foundation for a movie adaptation!
