I think putting tonight's episode on par with those others is generous by Community standards. This episode just was not funny, which would have been fine, but everything about the plot just felt forced to me.
Art of Discourse was also bad by Community standards, but it still had redeeming qualities. I'm more tolerant of it because it was the first episode of Community I saw, and it was at least good enough to get me watching.
