Well, I think Not Dave really has the right idea. It's stupid to call someone for "delay of game" when it is clearly an accident. And even moreso when the rule itself CLEARLY stipulates that intent is the key issue. It's really ****ing easy to tell when someone is purposely delaying the game and when they just were trying to clear the puck and accidentally overshot.
