So yeah, people who use the metric system don't understand inches and pounds at all. Which is no surprise, considering I don't understand centimeters and kilograms without doing math.
So like... why don't they just come up with what he should be in metric units and do the conversion to imperial units? They might not understand that 7'6" and 171 lbs is weird, but they probably know that 2.29 m and 77.56 kg isn't right!
And MMA has been big in Japan for way longer than the US so they should have a much better frame of reference for fighter heights and weights. Just be like "oh he's a similar body type to that guy so I'll use his stats with a slight variation".
