Glancing over these lists, can someone explain why Sonic 1 is in a few Top 5s? I get that it's a big milestone for platformers and all (though I think Sonic 2 refines the formula to a degree of making the first one obsolete), but Top 5 - especially when SMB1 is even there - seems odd.
I might try an attempt at this myself. It would be laughable, given my lack of experience with most games, though hey - on a list like this maybe that's a good thing!
Yeah, I... dunno. I put Sonic 2 in instead, and I only put it in the fifteen slot. In some cases I went with the 'this was the original, yo' but sometimes the original just got so utterly outclassed... yo.
