Oblivion was pretty terrible.
No point making a huge world if you're going to fill with indistinguishable level-scaled caves.
Here's another cave, with some more bandits, not entirely unlike the bandits in the other 50 caves you've been to. Here's another Oblivion Gate, remarkably similar to the previous Oblivion Gates, and the gate before that and the gate before that and the gate before that. Here's the land of Cyrodiil, spelunker's paradise, yours to explore. Have fun with that.
