Saves are legitimate in the Japanese language, as well as shortened nicknames and such. So long as everyone knows what you're talking about (and thanks to Google, that is easily possible for the language barrier... that and a pretty obvious guess).
Uh... as someone who actually updates regularly, I'm going to be pissed as f*** if I see some name I have to Google in the end of round vote rush. That is shenanigans waiting to happen and I will not be a part of it.
