Really, there aren't many games where things are completely unexpected.

I know, which is why I'm asking here so that I actually know which ones are the right ones.

I have to admit, it actually looks good back when I played it a bit. I should pick it up again and play through it, scary or not.

Killer 7 (GC/PS2)

Killer 7 looks more like an action than a scary game?

If you can't suspend your disbelief even for that you'll never get scared.

Frightening atmosphere is the best way to get scared, otherwise what you're looking for is surprise. Like loud noises and sudden movement.

Perhaps I need more surprise like loud noises and sudden movement combined with scary atmosphere. Those are the kind of things where I get scared since they happen suddenly without any warning.

Dead Space has a lot of jump scares, which sounds like what you want

Yeah, but as said in an earlier post, they get expected after a while.

You could try the Clock Tower games. Although they're kind of like Amnesia, in that you are utterly defenseless and have to get away from the serial killers

It's not a bad thing that it's like Amnesia, since it was a good game, but it didn't had the right scariness. Clock Tower seems interesting, maybe I'll try it.

Your goal is to remove all the obsidian except for the ones with lava under them?
I think you accidentally just invented MineSweeperCraft. - themerchant8
