I don't really understand your concept of fear then. It would be better if you could give us an example of a game that did frighten you. I mean, a game like Resident Evil seems to be fine, because it constantly has things jumping out at you, and it's pretty much impossible to know what to expect as there are always bigger badder versions of everything out there. There's also ammo management, so there's a chance you could get into an encounter with some acid spewing zombie in the bathroom when you walk in looking for ammo, and you would have nothing to combat it with. That's kind of frightening.

But at the same time, the only thing that's ever able to convey actual fear is atmosphere, which apparently doesn't phase you.

So my suggestion is to take one of these suggested games, and then set some sort of personal challenge to make the game much harder. Perhaps limit your weapons. Or for the hardest thing ever, no saves. You're required to beat the game in one sitting, but that means that if there is an unexpected baddy in the next room, he could literally ruin the game for you.

But that's more technical fear. If you're not scared by Amnesia's atmosphere, I don't think there is much hope in the horror genre for you.
