You're arguing all those government services can take care of the people on minimum wage who need it and I simply stated the obvious. We've had that system in place for ages and look at the results. It's spread out across multiple services that she poorly managed, inefficient, and bloated. Then stating that Republicans are constantly trying to cut them isn't fear mongering either, it's just a basic fact... Not even Republicans would deny that they're constantly trying to cut them... Ntm all the ones that constantly criticize the so called "welfare state" that they see as a massive problem that would be fixed by removing those programs all together. I don't have a better solution because I'm not even qualified to, and neither are you. I can just see the basic fact that the system as it is now is grossly inefficient and isn't working and you implying we double down on those systems of people being dependent on government services that aren't even reliable due to being under constant threats by Republicans as well as sending people down the path of further relying on government services instead of just being able to take care of themselves without having to spread themselves across several of those government services. --- The above post is literally and objectively right. |

The reason most people say "I'm sorry" but when there's a scandal people generally say "I apologize" is exactly what ClockworkHare said. It has to do with people being more desensitized to "I'm sorry" and also because "I apologize" comes off more serious.
