On one side of the coin those who know they are going to die soon have the opportunity to say their goodbyes but will spend the rest of their life dreading the end and probably in a lot of pain. On the other not knowing when you'll die lets you live your life as care free as possible but you don't get to say goodbye to folk as you can die at anytime.
