And what were your thoughts on the prequels at the time?

I was 6 in 99 and TPM was one of the first movies I can remember seeing in theaters.

I enjoyed the prequels then and still can find enjoyment within them even now, though I'm much more aware of the issues they have.

Though as a kid I did watch all the bonus features for the prequels, to include all 6 hours worth of bonus features for Attack of the Clones.

i tried this on my first playthrough and was missing like every hit i was trying to make with it. tbh i don't think it's very feasible to try and dual wield or go double bladed on Taris. no matter what you try to do you just won't have the feats to support it yet.

Well there's a better sword on Tatooine

Also if you don't get the dual weapon wielding, that's just the dual blade life, only hitting like every third hit

Blasters roll with dex

Melee (swords and sabers) roll with Str.

It won't be the end of the world if you roll with blasters til you get a saber but the saber game play is nearly fundamentaly identical to sword game play, you just get Saber throw if you invest in that power.

The Str/Dex finesse ability doesn't appear until KOTOR 2 iirc.

I always thought blasters were p ass in KOTOR 1, they're p OP in KOTOR2

I only watched it for Bill Burr, but the acting on a lot of these characters were cartoonishly abysmal.

Binged through it with family yesterday.

I can definitely understand some of the criticism levied against it, about it lacking a goal and that being a potential weak spot for show watchers.

Its definitely a bit more quiet than I anticipated. Kinda plods along at its own pace instead of trying to fit into a traditional episode length, which for Filoni led to some speed ups and wonky pacing in Rebels sometimes.

I also like how The Force and Force users are basically giant mysteries and rumors after the fall of the Republic and Empire

Posting on social media in public is more or less the same as talking in public so I assume the same loss of a right to privacy in being recorded applies?

This could probably be a justification but most people feel secure and private within the confines of their phones.

Which they're not but it doesn't stop the illusion from being created.

So you could also argue the other way and say there's an expectation of general privacy when sending messages to/from your phone.

I went with my mother, one of the people who had seen the original 77 release. She found someone else who had also seen the 77 release. There were a number of older people too who could easily have been at 77 release as well.

This theater sold out of tickets in October, so yeah. It was a 5 pm showing labeled a "fan event"

Bunch of life long fans, some who had been to the original 77 release of Star Wars. Can't attest to many personal opinions cause i wasn't conversating with people walking out, but they seemed to enjoy it on the whole.

I saw it and thought it was decent enough.

Tried too hard for big moments and trying to earn its ending instead of letting anything happen slowly and naturally.

But I'd go see it again. My theater liked it. No booing. Fair amount of clapping (dunno why people do this at normal theaters but whatever)
