It has a new story mode, with rewards that tie into MUT(if you care about that like I do). It has 3 styles of play now. Arcade, Simulation, and another more realistic version that H2H uses. Arcade is more about big plays and high scores, general Madden madness. Simulation is more about OVRs, player stats, play strengths and weaknesses etc. And the last mode is more for the competitive scene. It's still Madden at its core. I played the fuck out of 16, generally skipped 17, and 18 feels like a natural evolution of the past 2. So if you're looking for a brand new madden, you might not necessarily get that but it's new enough to justify buying at $30-45 if you don't care about MUT. --- The name is wackyteen* for a reason.
