Bombed half my finals because I cant concentrate on anything anymore

If this is being documented you should have reached out to the dean of students, or somebody to coordinate medical accommodations.

Once I get my new labs back and make an appt with my old doctor (she was sick today) Im going to ask for something

Things have gotten a lot worse since the last time so I want to have the updated info first

Seek a second opinion.

Im seeing an endocrinologist soon. My thyroid levels came back fucked up from the last blood work I had

I almost went to the hospital last night because I was on the verge of passing out for about 5 hours, and I could barely move this morning I was so tired

And he was a total dick. Ive been developing worse symptoms, like full-on body tremors, and he just told me you seem like a nervous guy, its probably just anxiety

I was at the grocery store the other day and you wouldve thought I had Parkinsons. People kept staring and it was fucking humiliating

He ordered more labs because I asked him to and prescribed me a steroid cream for the bruise-like rashes that now cover about 50% of my body, but he still just told me youre seeing your psychiatrist in a month, you probably just need your meds adjusted and she can take care of that

Fucker

I was going to make a joke asking if you're scared of commitment but those sound like serious issues. What's your diagnosis?

Took a nap and woke realizing I do have some answers to this question, at least as far as preexisting mental disorders go

Clinical depression, anxiety and panic disorders, bipolar II, ptsd, borderline personality disorder, insomnia, ocd

Ive decided to go, and Im hopeful that my next round of lab work will give me some more answers

Edit: I know that sounds like a lot, but with medication Ive been able to successfully manage most of it for a long time. This recent nonsense has been something new

Idk what you're going through but I can speak for the stutter. Two of my cousins started it young and never got out of it. Now they're 23 and 29. Hope yours didn't last. Idk why their parents never got them into speech therapy. Now they just get defensive when I talk about fixing it. If you still have it for the love of God try to get rid of it asap. Such a detriment socially and career wise.

Just for a week or ten days, so I can get rediagnosed and get off everything and hopefully have all my meds readjusted in case thats been a contributing factor to some of the issues Ive been having. I developed a stutter today

Going in for more lab work Wednesday so hopefully Ill have answers before the end of the month

Lmao almost literally exactly the same

My sister has already made two people, so my parents should be satisfied. They never really pushed the issue on either of us anyways. They were more concerned with us being financially stable first. In fact, they're kind of trying to convince her to dial it back now that she's wanting even more kids...

They do occasionally get on me about still being single, though. It's hilarious how excited they get when I happen to mention that I'm planning a date.

Yeah my mom lost her shit when I finally had to tell her I was in a relationship

Could be something, could be nothing. The mind is a funny thing that can do some strange things if you are very stressed or have a lot on your plate.

Its good that youve seen a doctor already. Try not to worry until you know something concrete and take care of yourself, make sure youre eating enough and getting enough rest. Otherwise fatigue and anxiety about what is going on can make neurological symptoms worse or could even be causing them to begin with.

I know, and Ive been trying. Whats happening I think has been making it worse since Ive been stressing hard over it so Im hopeful its not as bad as it seems

Andromicus posted...
Have you taken SSRIs for a while? I only found out recently that that shit messes with your memory, it's a joke among my friends that I make up silly names for characters in games but it is because I can't remember stuff like that well

Ive been on them since I was 16 and Ive never had these sorts of issues. Im forgetting things seconds after they happen. I have insane OCD and Ive even been even forgetting to indulge the weird tics I have, and trust me thats worrisome for me

Ive never had the greatest memory, but lately Ive been forgetting things in a different way

I had an exam Tues I could have sworn was Thurs (actually walked into class, saw everyone with the scantrons, and pivoted and straight walked out because I seriously would have failed). I have an exam today I could have sworn was the optional cumulative one I didnt need to take on lectures I have no memory of, and even though they get posted online and I check the site regularly I dont remember seeing them, and Im now having people reference conversations weve had that I have no recollection of. Apparently I went off on my father for no reason the other day. Ive also been forgetting basic things like how words are spelled

I went in for lab work and a bunch of shit came back inconclusive except for some things which my doctor is referring me to an endocrinologist for, so its not even just mental. My tremors which Ive always had are almost getting seizure-like, and I drop things all the time. Last night I broke a wine glass and cracked the screen on my phone

Idk wtf is going on or even when it started tbh. Everything is just really fuzzy right now
