This is hugely false. That was true for like a 6 hour period of time then I literally did more pushing than anyone else in the game for the remainder of it

The first thing I said to silver in spec chat after I died he was immediately like "I'm not going to interact with you about this" and was in complete and utter denial that I had anything on him

Cent tried to deny having talked me down during the interim between when he died and I died, then I screenshotted it and he had nothing to say

I get that feeling now, without needing to play the final in a month, and simultaneously "know" I played well enough to rightfully qualify if everyone was being honest

ironically the reason behind Ephemera strongarming the bucket strategy was to "prevent day 1 discussion from being consumed by whether or not to employ the bucket strategy"

of course me being a PR and stubborn just led to it being discussed for a lot of the day anyway

in postgame chat I was like "so anyway, pretty sure that the amount of discussion surrounding bucket strategy would not have been greater had ephemera not forced it"

this triggered like 10 people to reply to me insisting I don't understand that the bucket strategy is optimal

they do have a hive mind going that's for sure

a vanilla town hard-claimed PR to start day 1 (...again)

they didn't claim which PR though

the idea is what they call the bucket strategy

concept: all three town PRs claim they are PR day 1 but don't say which. any scum who tries to claim PR will be outed eventually more likely than not, so it effectively gives you 3 confirmed town immediately and scum have a hard time even killing them because they have a 1/3 chance to block the doctor and if they don't block the doctor, a 50/50 of not shooting who the doctor saves. so either roll the dice on that or shoot outside the confirmed town.

being vig I was not in support of claiming PR day 1, for selfish reasons

the other two real PRs openly claimed in reaction to the VT faking, then the VT rescinded

I refused to ever come forward for day 1 but was extremely vocal about the strategy being dumb despite it being "optimal" because it's just...ya know, lame

claimed PR died N1

D2 I openly claimed vig and said I'm locked into shooting the VT who claimed and rescinded to start the game. This player was Ephemera - one of the two scum I pegged in my qualifier. so it was simple for me to fake tilting on them as a reaction test. 12-18 or so hours after I said I was locked into my shot I came back and said the whole thing was an act and that I wasn't vig at all. but of course nobody else was claiming PR so scum pretty much figured it was me (not that I could know for sure at the time whether they were buying me)

I ended day with my vote on someone else other than Ephemera

so they were banking on me shooting either ephemera or the player I was voting or the counterwagon to the VT who got mislynched day 2

but I shot the RB instead, someone I'd never openly suspected except having them in a POE of like 5 people at one point

they knew I was vig and deliberately didn't roleblock me to let me shoot a town

I helped lead a late D1 swap from Scum A onto Scum B

Then night 2 I shot Scum C

I've been playing some standard games with a blue green deck I hobbled together

I still haven't crafted a single card, just collecting resources and getting exposure to the meta and whatnot

I faced someone named mtg_punker who was running that green landfall bug that duplicates itself

They were clearly running away with tempo etc as my draw was awkward and I was having to deal with threats suboptimally just to survive

I played Stolen by the Fae for X=3 on 5 mana to last one more turn

During this turn mtg_punker amassed a board of 50 creatures against my board of four 1/1 flying creatures (I had a silver raven also)

But they had nothing to deal with flying and I won with exact lethal from Return of the Wildspeaker

'oops' I guess, fun stuff

It doesn't bother me in the slightest either to be honest, but it seemed on point with the joke to just say that as part of sharing it tbh. Silliness

I more just find it fascinating that it isn't more commonly recognized. That's got a lot more to do with why I bothered to share than the "this bothers me" angle

They revealed the vote results for which players from my game will advance to the semifinal round. To be perfectly honest I believe we could have just run the vote without bothering to actually play the game and gotten the same results. The game was a popularity contest and the popular players rolled scum and then were lauded over for cruising on their popularity.

I know, I lost, the game is about being persuasive etc. Just pointing out my perspective

I eventually reached the point of telling SK "very few of your posts compel me to engage with you"

I ramble a bit about how fake town pr breadcrumbs are stupidly easy and safe for scum to do in an open setup

me in response to people calling out my list of 4 (in light of flips I guess):

I don't understand the SK town reads, not saying they're invalid just that what I see is someone constantly muddying conversations everywhere and sticking their finger in every pie without actually achieving anything then shading others for not playing like he does more or less. He acts like he's some kind of champion of activity yet he routinely overlooks key relevant posts made by his targets (this happened with me and Aersoldorf both iirc). You all are like "aww lol good ol' SK" and I'm like this guy is a whirlwind of anti-helpful content.

Of course there's bias in that but there's quite a bit of objectivity as well.

I start going down a rabbit hole on Kyle's ISO because when the reality was Kyle was so uber pocketed by Ephemera day 1 he couldn't see straight, what I was thinking at the time was oh Kyle is powerwolfing with Ephemera, like that's how in lock step they were lol

exhibit A for the day 1 pocket, from Ephe:

strongest townread is still probably kyle though because /damn/ that thought process feels exactly how i was approaching this game

I have my little conspiracy theory about Kyle/Ephemera. At one point I noticed they both had lots of my town reads on their lists of 4 suspects (Ephe's was 4/4 town and Kyle's was 3/4 town (had TL, neither of SK/Ephe)

I tell SK directly to pretty much stfu get over yourself and stop expecting me to care what you think or engage with you lol

I just want to point out I think this POE approach Ephemera brought forward has potential to be easily manipulated by scum. Can't we just try a little harder than that and talk about real cases etc. This is lazy and letting wolves just lead town off a cliff

JKBear, the scummy vig, called me out for thinking Aersoldorf was still alive after he was lynched last second BY ME. guys, lol. the scummiest town player ever. My goodness. Ok moving on.

I point out again for everyone how SK has taken something I said and randomly inserted a fake made up scummy thing into it. Like he quotes me then transitions from quote into paraphrase but the paraphrase is just something he invented out of thin air. And my town teammates pay so little attention nobody notices. SK naturally has the audacity to defend himself completely making up crap out of nowhere, knowing full well nobody is paying any attention.

oh yeah, the time when SK tried to convince me he was town based on the fact Esooa died lol....lol
