But what if he wanted to call them a fucking bunny? Is that insulting? Bunnies are cute!

Then he would have called him a "fucking bunny" instead of a "fucking [redacted]". Just because you [redact] a word from something to try and make it seem like that's not what you were going to say as a way to backtrack doesn't make it ok.

A normal user who isn't trying to skirt rules would outright call someone a bunny (because they are cute). A user who likes trying to edge on the warry side of the rule will go the [redacted] route so they'd be able to backtrack on what they said and would probably try and throw it back at the other person and be like "you thought it, i didn't say it".

I haven't got modded yet since the new rules but I feel like my marks aren't really getting seen either (like I marked this guy saying prepubescent children were hot and the same guy then saying he hates women 2 days ago and it's still up) so maybe I'm just getting ignored in general?

Fwiw, things can get NWD (notify without delete) now, so it may look like on your end we didn't do anything when we may have NWD'd that mark. Therefore something did happen, it just wasn't deleted, only nwd'd

But the stuff i mentioned wasnt even deleted. Its some dude who keeps harassing me yet he never gets modded. Its ridiculous

read this part of the announcement:

The way that NWD will work is that for minor offenses where a user technically violated a rule but their post wasn't particularly heinous, we will allow the post to remain but notify the user that their post was against the rules so that they know in the future not to post something similar again. If we notify the user a few times and their behavior doesn't change, we'll ramp up the punishment to deletions, then Warnings, and so on.
