was about to propose to my girlfriend when my roommate Joseph barged into the room out of nowhere, tripped, and fell over, breaking a glass table with his face. Totally ruined the mood. Now I don't know Joseph THAT well, don't even remember where he was from, but let's say I put my plans on hold to help him through his injuries.

Joseph had gotten a big glass shard in his eye, making him completely blind in that eye. He was walking around with one of those big cotton pads on his eye for a couple of months. Then suddenly, he disappeared, along with my girlfriend.

Apparently they'd bonded during the time after his injuries, and eloped together, leaving me behind without as much as a note. I tried to track them down, but never could.

In conclusion, if it hadn't been for Joe with his cotton eye, I'd have been married a long time ago. Where did you come from, where did you go? Where did you come from, cotton eye Joe?

The FF9 remaster has really blurry art, because they lost the originals and had to use downscaled versions. The Moguri Mod upscales the new art using AI to produce art that's the correct sharpness and reasonably accurate to the original

The Meguri Mod is the reason I bought FF9 on Steam having already bought it on PS4

If you could, what would you cosplay as?

I've given this some thought already. My ideal cosplay would be over two days: the first I'd cosplay Goro from Oshi no Ko, the second day it'd be his reincarnation Aqua (from the same show, obviously). Practically, I need to sort out how I'd do Aqua's eyes, since they require special contact lenses and I'm not crazy about the idea of wearing my glasses over them, but eh

I'm on the way back. No photos, because it seems German customs about con photos differ from Anglophone ones and I would have required a second person to take a photo of me with the cosplayers; anything else is "creepy". Other than that, I had a good time overall. Belted my heart out to CSM and AoT, ate some croquettes and struggled to stay within my budget for merch. I wasn't cosplaying going into it, but in the low-cost cosplay workshop we made Sims overhead gems, and I wore mine for the rest of the day
