Twitch. It has changed how and what developers focus on big time. They see cash giants like Ninja and only want to make the next Fortnite.

I'm thankful the battle royale craze is, at least so far, not as nearly widespread/awful as the MOBA craze a few years back.

Games being downloable-only format, but disappearing from eshops and no longer being available to acquire.

The obvious one coming to mind is PT :(

X6 was the only X game I owned when I was younger, so back then I thought it was amazing... Reading this thread resonates with my experience though.

It will almost certainly be on switch unless Atlus hates money but I'm assuming Nintendo wants to announce it through a direct so they're not going to announce it here

this seems likely. like all multiplatform games they're going to get a big reveal on a nintendo direct, then quietly be announced for pc/ps4/xbox later the same day, and then the switch version will be indefinitely delayed

This game is fun. I just finished the tutorial area (I assume) with the four shrines. I talked to the king and got the glider. Any spoiler free tips?

So far Ive enjoyed the way you can do funny shit in combat. Cutting down trees to hit people, throwing shit at them, etc. its hilarious

my only tip is to avoid all spoilers. just play the game and discover things on your own. that's the true joy of this game.

this has to come out on switch, right?

also can't wait for some new character/dungeon that adds 10 hours of gameplay. also the gang gets scooters.

i was also an idiot who bought it on ps4 when all my friends are on pc... and ended up grinding away solo and putting in like 100 hours before I realized I was getting way too addicted and had to call it quits.

my biggest turn-offs for starting a game are 1) long daunting intros and 2) actually putting the disc in (which is why I now buy all switch games digitally)

I need to replay this and do another path/actually play more of the laptop game.

I've considered this, but right now I've got plenty on it for me to play. I've barely played any SNES games... I was a Sega kid.

They made a huge mistake when they used the Tetris license for it, now they can never port it to anything because there's no way they're going to get the license back

Met someone the other day that swore up and down that runescape is the best mmo today

I know several people that still play, or recently came back. It came out on mobile devices and basically revitalized it.

i started yoshi's island and it's made me realize there's no tetris attack or even any real puzzle games on this thing!!!!! foolish move, nintendo.
