Applebees just plain sucks. They cant even do alcohol right. At least its relatively cheap.

Red Lobster is absurdly priced. I remembered how expensive it was when my dad took us to one 15 years ago so Id imagine its much worse these days. The quality wasnt terrible, but for the price it shouldve been better.

Texas Roadhouse is fantastic. Ive never had a bad experience and the prices are what youd expect. My only real complaint is that wait times can get crazy, but I guess that could be true for any place.

If I had to pick a place that was disappointing it would be Walk-ons. There are almost no menu options for people on specific diets. Last time I went I was on Keto and the only option I had was a dingy little steak smothered in garlic butter. Worst thing I ever ate.

This is worst than when Dez Bryant got seriously injured during his first practice with the Saints a while back. Literally the entire seasons expectations were hinging on Rodgers bringing that Lambeau magic to New York. But, the Jets still beat the Bills and Wilson looked more serviceable than he has in the past.

A lot of people are missing the inexperienced part about the gun user. Inexperienced shooters are extremely slow on the draw and highly inaccurate, especially under pressure. The swordsman wins 9 out of 10 times. The one victory for the gunman is due to a lucky shot.

scorpion41

It depends on what the issue is. If its lack of talent on the roster, then no team meetings obviously arent going to help. But, for a lack of team focus or poor morale meetings can help. Player-led meetings are even better because players tend to tune coaches out after a certain point, but its harder to ignore your peers.

They have training camp and workouts for that though. They even have simulated games with other teams.

Nothing is like a real game though. Even the scrimmage practices are far more controlled compared to a live game. You have to see how players perform when it counts because a practice hero can end up being fools gold.

Extreme case of ED. This kid will need to be heavily medicated just to be around people. In my experience with kids like this I can confidently say he wont get the medication he needs for whatever reason, the parents rarely keep up with it, and he will do more harm to someone in the future.

I liked it. There were a few slow parts, but it moves at a fairly good pace. The comedy blends in really well. Its fun to point out who the characters in the show are from the game(not a thing of you never played it). But, even my wife liked it and shes not a video game person at all.

Taken from a 2020 CNN article:

CNN: Why do we have voter registration in the US?
LK: Voter registration is there to make sure that voter rolls are accurate and updated. Elections in the United States are decentralized. They are administered at the county level. So voter registration is a regular and ongoing process to make sure that our elections are as inclusive, accurate and credible as possible.

scorpion41
07/24/23 8:47:15 AM

He was attempting 210kg, which is around 462lbs, all of which crushed his neck because he couldnt bail on the attempt due to the rear spotter. Im sure the poor guy feels awful. But, he made the same mistake many people do and it ended very badly. Unfortunately this isnt the first video Ive seen of spotters doing this and the lifter being put into a bind. Ive seen the bad spotting video of the IPF competition and one of the competitors couldnt bail on an attempt due to the rear spotter locking him in with his arms under his and holding him. There is also a fail video of an elite power lifter in a similar situation during training with a 900lb attempt. Fortunately these two guys managed to stay in front of the bar and not be crushed by it.

If youre squatting without safety racks and rubber plates you really dont need spotters at alljust make sure you understand how to bail. Under no circumstance should you use a rear spotter to catch weight for squats when failure is a possibility. Side spotters on each side of the bar is much safer for everyone involved. The rear spotter should simply make sure the lifter doesnt fall backwards and should not be doing anything to prevent the lifter from dropping the attempt.

And just to add, powerlifting utilizes 3 spotters because most competitors are wearing extremely stiff squat suits among other equipment and bailing safely would be extremely difficult. Olympic lifters in training on the other hand almost never utilize spotters during squats and never squat with racks.

120 plus 100% humidity

We had to stop football practice every 15 minutes for a mandatory cool down break, and you had to be within a couple of pounds of your pre camp weight before every practice or the trainers would hold you out and force you to drink water. Thank goodness this was before they installed turf so it wasnt as hot as it couldve been.
