Seasons 5 and 6 are so garbage, especially by comparison.

I love the 3 arcs idea, and how they all tie together. Ironically the Ghost Rider arc starts off the rockiest coming off of the more disappointing season 3 (even though they blew all their budget on Ghost Rider vfx) and I'm not even a fan of what-ifs especially when they don't make sense but I still loved the Framework Hydra arc.

Seeing Ward again (and as a good guy no less) made me squee so hard

On the one hand, lol at them and any other companies doing this. On the other hand, why are people so bothered by this and the one episode a week model? I just watch and do other stuff until the last episode airs, and then binge the whole thing, it's no different to them having actually released the thing at once for me

Especially the gba virtual console that has games like super mario advance 4 which I want to give a second shot and super mario advance which I lost decades ago. Or gbc games like zelda oracles of age seasons and wario land 3.

Did they not bother to bring back the virtual console because the switch was super successful and they realized they could instead gouge customers for nickels and dimes like ms.

Another weird thing this game does, when joker is on the phone with someone who is typically not just addressing him but really all the phantom thieves, he doesn't put it on speaker and the gang asks him "what that call was about"

Why wouldn't he just put it on speaker phone since the person calling wants to say their piece to all the phantom thieves, not just joker. Unlike the velvet room where the intention is simply to talk to joker and not even morgana/sophia seem to know.

Oooh they could add it as part of the gameplay by making them collectables, get enough lipstick points to apply makeup. Immersion!

are we forgetting one of the biggest event in Marvel comics history was about secret identities? they waged a Civil War for it.

That's the thing, Marvel actually debates this issue while DC's heroes seem to just accept the duality of man.

Looking for a good 3d platformer. Skimmed some trailers and it looks... pretty cluttered with a lot of colors and objects and stuff going on in the screen. Also looks like a ps2 game, so the original $30 price tag is pretty insane

I don't even want it to end, it's literally more persona 5. And unlike the added content in royal with maruki and the redhead, it's actually super fun so far

Still have a pet peeve regarding the terrible sound mixing because it's a shame to miss out on great voice acting due to the way too loud background music

Real answer is it gives them an excuse to keep the hugely paid hollywood actor as maskless as possible

I mean yeah but it's kinda funny, I'd like to meet the clever exec that realized it was best to show the actor's face as much as possible while in costume to market and brand a franchise. Since then every single movie has had commonly secretive identities like spiderman be revealed and have the mask taken off as much as possible while the actor is in costume for those posing shots

No wonder Marvel comics always felt so simplistic and mundane compared to their DC rivals. Duality can be a very compelling a story arc when done well and that's why Spider-Man was the most popular.

It was getting rather tiresome though. While I initially didn't like iron man revealing his identity and thought it was weird, I actually look back at it as rather brilliant and nice shakeup to the formula especially in a comical sense. Actually Iron Man did a lot of things different, like basically killing the bad guy himself instead of doing the disney death thing

Fair enough. Still, even relative to their profile I don't quite see the same amount of complaints.

There's also LoU2 Ellie who also looks like an average, realistic woman like Aloy, and while there have been complaints about her looks it doesn't seem like it's on the same level as Aloy. But that's also probably because people complain more about other stuff with that game.

I haven't played LoU yet but it's absolutely bizarre to me that there was this character in it who looked like ellen page... and yet when I went to google the game, it actually neither stars nor voice acting from ellen page at all. She didn't even provide her likeness for the character model, so I never did get what was up with that.

We'll have to see how they introduce them in the movies to know for sure, but mutants in general tend to be sequestered from society with most being either in kenosha or xavier's hogwarts school

Or secret identities full-stop. Spiderman was the only one who wears a mask for concealing identity and he's still considered Sony owned not Marvel.

Have you noticed that the Marvel movies in the past 10+ years did away with the whole secret identity that was basically a staple of all superhero media for like, 100 years.

In 2008's Iron Man when Tony Stark did the reveal, it was basically never done before and was almost upsetting, but hell the initial members of the Avengers don't even do alter egos. Thor is Thor, everyone knows who Captain America is, etc

They don't have the classic batman/spiderman/superman dilemmas of "oh I have to hide my identity and make an excuse where I was" or the love interest being sad that the alter ego didn't show up for the date and he can't tell her he was off fighting crime so you have that typically trite conflict.

Yeah I'm not saying it's on the level of parks and rec/brooklyn 99/the good place, or even 30 rock/community etc, where it's just joke after joke and laughter after laugh. It's just nice and easy to watch, like the office but without a terribly unlikable boss and without the reliance on extreme cringe as a form of humor. Just a nicer show.

Jeff the manager is certainly acting a lot more... how do I say it... let's just say the quirky employees at the store are getting to him and having an effect on him I think.
