If that game sits in the Redbox and never gets rented or of it gets rented daily for five years, the end result is the same as far as compensation to the publisher. You're playing that game with no additional revenue to the publisher.

Frankly, people who pirate games are the most pure gamers. Playing a game without a vested interest in it gives a completely unbiased perspective. Plenty of people will play a shitty game that they aren't enjoying simply because they spent sixty dollars on it.

The officer that Washington ran toward pointing a .38 caliber revolver fired his police-issued sidearm four times, killing Washington.

Smith is the man on trial. Washington is the dead man. Washington ran towards a cop who shot him with a .38. I don't see where it says Smith was armed or shot at anyone. If Washington charges a cop who kills him, what did Smith do to deserve a murder conviction?

Convicting people of murder who never killed anyone seems like a pretty obvious perversion of justice, but it's sadly common practice all across the country. If you commit a crime with another person and the cops kill that other person, you're responsible?

I'm hard right and I have no pity for criminals, but I also think people should only be convicted of the things they actually do. This kid didn't kill anyone. Frankly it seems like carte blanche for the cops to kill anyone they want, so long as they leave one person alive to take the fall for it.

Once, back in my dark days in retail. It was a pretty brutal winter, and we chipped and salted a walkway through the ice to the door. Well, some woman decides she doesn't want to use it, goes across the ice, slips and smashes her hip. Eventually somebody comes into the store and says "Hey, there's some woman on the ground out there." He didn't check on her or anything, just came in. Obviously a shining example of human compassion. I go out to find this woman laying on the ground crying, so I call 911.

Cops responded within one minute, they instructed us to get her off the ice onto some cardboard. An ambulance came, carted her away. She ended up being fine, but she still sued the store. She actually lost the lawsuit, because there was a walkway cleared and marked, and her lawyer couldn't convince the jury that a 55 year old woman didn't know ice was slippery.
