We've had probably the nicest start to summer in Florida. It rains most days around 1pm, cools things down, and even if the sun comes back out, it hovers in the low to mid 80s. July and August usually suck, but so far so good.

I was hooked until halfway through the 2nd to last season in GOT. I could tell the snarkiness of Tyrion was gone, I guess since they stopped referencing the book, and the characters just became dull. It had such potential, and was engrossing with great graphics, but they got lazy and wanted to move on to another project.

What's funny is if they dug their heels in and really delivered an amazing ending, then they would be able to do whatever project they want for the next 10+ years. Now they are bums.

My wifes pharmacist got Covid during July 2020, and donates her blood every month cause she still has the antibodies. Im healthy and 36 years old, so Im safe to assume I still have them after getting covid during Christmas 2020, before the vaccines were given to the general population.

Its basic science to assume a healthy body makes antibodies after a virus, and honestly its probably because of $$$ that this fact is being suppressed for a vaccine.

It's an amazing game, and quite possibly the best game under $20 ever. My favorite Metroidvania will always be SOTN however, I've only played through Hollow Knight once, while I've played SOTN like 5x over.

Silk Song though...I've never really anticipated an indie game as much as I have this one.

So I'm being labeled the selfish one now? Hilarious. I see nothing wrong with getting out of relationships that are toxic, however, I do see a problem with getting out of a relationship because the other person is sickly, can't perform in bed because of an illness, or is going through an emotional hurt. If you bail, it just proves that you'll do it with the next person. We are all growing ugly and wrinkly by the day, I'd rather stick it out with my best friend who I hold the most memories with, then just find someone each decade who matches my libido.

The thing you don't understand is nobody agrees with you. Not just GameFAQs users. Nobody IRL agrees with you. You're completely alone on this. The fact that divorces are happening at all (and the rates are increasing by the year) is living proof that nobody agrees with you.

And it seems like you're having trouble agreeing with yourself, because you think the only other option is "being sexually active"

Then if Im the only one left adhering to my vows, so be it. Just because a majority is set on selfishness doesnt mean Im wrong. Look around you, do you see happiness anywhere? Depression drugs on the up and up, more people living off social media fame, suicides on the rise, etc.

Selfishness leads to misery, you are just young enough to not get to the misery yet. My wife is my best friend, and the rate at which our genitals run into each other, or the fact that she cant do what she used to do with me doesnt change that fact.

Thank you, and I know I am. Every single person who says otherwise would think differently if they were the ones with liver disease, or disabled, or unable to perform in bed because of hormonal issues.

This all stems from young folks watching their parents give up for stupid reasons. We live in a selfish society, so thats why people like me are rare. I think marriage is beautiful, and if nurtured, can become something greater than whatever this world offers.

Ive seen the most sexually active people end up miserable, Ive traveled and seen the world and still desire home, and Ive seen millionaires become husks of themselves. Im perfectly fine in my mentality, and if GameFAQs users disagree, I think Im doing okay.

My wife is going through tough medical problems, and she hasnt had a job in the 7 years since weve been married, her hormonal issues make sex impossible, and she sometimes cleans, never cooks, and rarely feels like participating in things. We cant travel because her sleep regiment of medication makes her want to stay home.

Yet I love her more than ever, but I have a belief that God will redeem the time and heal her. I find hope in my faith.

I feel for the TC, but marriage isnt just a contract, its a life long bond. Honestly, you sound like the bad link in the relationship. Man up, take care of your wife, be an example for people around you.

I wouldn't expect overly liberal 20 somethings to understand the craziness of a primetime CBS show parading out strippers and sexual acts on a giant bed, because most of you all probably click on videos much worse. This is the Grammy's, which definitely had children watching, because they like singers such as Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift. To think that the Grammy's is only for adults, and that Trevor Noah saying "Please don't let your kids watch this segment" is enough, you aren't a parent. Parents have enough to worry about, and now primetime television is against them. In fact, it's now immoral to think Cardi B isn't empowering women, because of racism or something I guess. Some -ism will be used.

Again, this board is full of a generation that probably has porn on another tab most times, so watching Cardi B is almost tame. Most older folks grew up with the perception that sex is meant to have in the bedroom, and not on stage. Also, civilizations that promote sex and denounce family values usually end up destroyed, either by themselves or other nations looking to take the mantle. We are too busy arguing over how many genders there are, while China is promoting masculinity and becoming more powerful by the day. I'm sure their army and weapons will overtake us in a few years, but we are too busy whining about going back to school when its safe.

Lockdowns have only brought about misery and death. The toll on impoverished countries cant even be measured. Usually when people from well-off countries just...stop working, the domino effect can be devastating for developing and 3rd world countries. Also, keeping schools closed for a year+ has been destructive for our children, and I read that over 3 million kids have disappeared off the education radar since March 2020, because they havent checked into Zoom or gone back to school.

It does not - God repeatedly throughout the Bible mocks idols and false gods the Israelites and other tribes worshiped, because they don't exist. He basically straight up laughs at the people who worship rocks or altars or have strange rituals because they are all to false gods.

If you're curious for more, Isaiah is a good book in the Bible that goes into this stuff. (Although, technically Lucifer and angels and demons and etc could be construed as other demi-gods or gods compared to humans, that's true.)
