Not going back to school sooner. I dropped out when I was 20. I don't regret that part (I'm glad I fucked around for a couple years), but I wish I returned sooner than 29. I'm 31 now and it's gonna take forever to graduate. But it's better than nothing.

Had a Sega Genesis in my household for as long as I remember. When I was like 8 years old, my mom picked up a Super Nintendo from a yard sale. So eventually we had both consoles.

Update: This topic is based on a true story, if you couldn't tell lol.

my mom has been working for this medical-related company for about 4 months. she never liked it because she felt like she was getting no training, and wasn't learning as much as she wanted. she had an annual review a couple months back, and her manager agreed she is a little behind due to not being trained on the things she's supposed to be trained on.

last week, the same scenario played out that i mentioned in this topic. her boss and HR manager put her on a written warning because other employees that started out at the same time are improving more quickly than her. she claims that isn't true, and her trainer has been giving her the cold shoulder, always too busy to train. some of the complaints against my mom are actually from said trainer, but my mom says none of the complaints are accurate. it's also a bit deceptive that her boss was supportive of this write-up, when he previously said she wasn't properly trained (during the annual review). my mom was asked to sign the written warning, but she refused. she is currently still working there, but i think her time is coming up soon.

just wanted to clarify where i got the idea for this topic lol. i suggested her to find new jobs right away. i even suggested her to maybe work part time, and then try doordash or something. i can't prove anything, but my mom has always been a great employee at numerous jobs. better than myself, that's for sure lol.

Yeah usually I wouldn't think about paying $12 a month just to avoid ads and a few other services but the YouTube music is a great bonus

what does youtube music have over regular youtube? music is basically regular youtube but it shuts you down from non-music videos. just make a playlist on youtube. same thing.

I have nothing against YouTube premium, but while there's other options i might as well save the money

They tell you that you have not progressed to their standard. They claim that other people who started at the same time as you are performing better and learning quicker than you. Then they give you a written warning, and ask you to sign it.

Another problem with this game, I feel like it would be too easy. You literally only need two star pieces to make blocks disappear. And if it's randomized, chances are you'll probably get a star piece 50% of the time, so I feel like the game won't be challenging enough

the mini-games are a lot of fun, almost as good as mario party (although not as many games).

the rental pokemon suck. it would be cool if there nintendo hacked the ROM and gave all the pokemon good movesets though lol. or if the nintendo added the ability to change the movesets, but that would be drastically changing the game too much.

yeah didn't go super well for him in game 2. it was even at first, but aiden failed to tech once and was a full stock behind. he no longer had the momentum.
