Ah, so I'm not missing much. Nice. I've been kinda saving SH4 because it's the only Team Silent game I haven't played yet. Once it's done, that's that.

Damn all of these are golden but I would have to go with either PE or Fatal Frame II. I'd say if you're in the mood for something the most traditionally survival horror, FF2 is the best here. Awesome lore, lots of fun creepy exploration in an environment that stays fresh, and the combat is a lot of fun & challenging.

PE on the other hand definitely has a lot of fun exploration too, along with a fantastic soundtrack to go along with. But the combat is more action RPG focused and it's very engaging and enjoyable (with a couple of tedious moments here and there) but maybe not what you're looking for in a SH game right now.

Damn, you sold me on both! I'm guessing PE is the longer of the two, so I might go the FF2 route so I can finish it sooner. I have next week off from work, so it would be ideal to beat one of these over the course of a few nights.

Just finished Until Dawn and enjoyed it way more than I thought I would (wasn't crazy about the initial "snowy cabin with teenagers" setup, but damn, did it deliver).

I've got five other Survival Horror games waiting in the wings for October. Also considering replaying Silent Hill 2 for the first time since 2007 because I hear there are minor connections between SH2 and SH4.

Damn the Switch now has the number one and two 2D platformers of all time with DKC 2 and Tropical Freeze.

overall not too bad a showcase, but man I cannot get over how completely unexcited/uninterested I am in FFXVI.

If they had just played the theme, shown a cg trailer, and said FFXVI: IN DEVELOPMENT. CONSOLE EXCLUSIVE, I think I would have been somehow MORE hyped.

Dude, I thought it was just me getting older/more cynical, but it seems like all the longtime fans feel this way so far.

Feels like FF sold out.
