| pipebomb_phil 10/01/18 12:41:02 PM #1 | I don't understand it. The phones' screens are like 5 or 6 inches. You don't need that high of a resolution on a screen so small. To me that's just a waste of computing and graphical power. Right now I'm using a phone that has an 854 x 480 resolution. Yeah, it's crappy, but it gets the job done. I think something like 720p or so would be more than enough for a phone. I mean, I get it, higher resolutions will look better but they can use that power for something else rather than a resolution bump. 1440p is too much for a phone. I had an iMac that was 1440p and that was awesome. The screen was 27 inches though. Who the hell needs 1440p on a 5-7 inch screen? I usually go straight home after work (when I had a job) or school (when I went to school). It does have capture the flag, but the biggest modes are Escort (one team has to deliver this vehicle to the last check point and the other team prevents them from doing so), Control, and Assault. However, I'm reading a book on it to get me back on track. But damn, it sucks. I have to wait a while in order for my skills to be good and then see if I can land a job as an animator. For now I have to keep looking for a retail job or something. I haven't found luck with that yet. I applied to every major place around here and nope, they don't even call me. The reason I want a job nearby is because I really, really hate driving. But now I pretty much have no choice and will have to drive a bit more. Anyways, this year I've applied to like 6 or 7 places. Only got interviewed twice. One of those interviews happened today and the manager said he'd call me back if he needed me, but nope. That's why I made this topic. So use your time efficiently.
