The most dangerous weapon they have is simply a nuke, I'm pretty sure their standard weapons are just bullets, the titular ship is deliberately low-tech so it has things like corded phones and Navy-like chatter across the bridge, and while the villains are technically cyborgs, they're human in pretty much every way. --- |

The article mentions that several witnesses were unwilling to testify (which would mean the video couldn't be submitted as evidence) and even the parents of the victim didn't want the guy to get severe jail time, instead wanting him to receive treatment. --- |
