Yeah Bastion is definitely a hard counter to Doomfist. All of Doomfist's abilities involve knockback of some sort, and none of it affects Bastion.

Maybe someone who's more in tune with the game series can say if it's fairly accurate or not. I've only really played the ones on the DS.

Well, it has more story and characters than Castlevania III, but it most closely resembles Castlevania III.

I don't know if it's just buggy, if Blizz isn't being honest with ping, or what, but everything involving doomfist has a bizarre delay. I feel like I'm being pulled around corners to get his by his punch, after I get hit by a punch it takes a moment for me to die, sometimes when I get hit my camera does a complete 360 turn without me moving the mouse. Cus if it's actually designed to feel that bad, that's terrible. I seriously hope that's just the PTR is a bad server or something.

It is. I have a feeling we'll hear another arrangement, or maybe even a different song for that last encounter in Savage (Neo Exdeath perhaps?).

Also, my brother messaged me today, saying he's interested in trying FF14 again. Apparently he played it for a couple weeks a few years ago and dropped it. He showed me his character on the Lodestone, and I noticed it's on Ultros, which I believe is in the Primal data center? I noticed this after telling him about how even if we're not on the same server we can run dungeons and raids together through cross-world play. I don't think I can play with him if he's in Primal and we're in Aether. :X So he might make a character on an Aether server if he can, then sometime down the line he *might* transfer to Gilgamesh if he can, but who knows when that can happen. That's if he decides to stick with the game this time, though.

Congrats! I'm at 8/9, I have 2 spaces that could still give me the Khloe minion, might gain a level with RDM then run Dusk Vigil to get a 51-59 dungeon for my last sticker.

Also after Omega tomorrow I might try to doggo farm on Lakshmi, or I'll see if I can't solo Garuda or something on DRG and try to farm Nightmare, since it's the only ARR primal mount I don't own.

Edit: Oh speaking of, Seeing as how we're fighting Shinryu and Omega this expansion, I wonder if Exdeath will make some kind of appearance? Either a raid boss, or maybe a primal? Idk, we fought the Warring Triad in HW, and there was no sign of Kefka, so probably not. Would still be cool.

I haven't played BDO, but I hear the combat is fast and fluid. I know levelling sucks in FFXIV, but once you hit higher levels, some Jobs really start to shine, and combat becomes a lot faster and more interesting.

The terrible pugs are real. ;_; Spent 3 hours after server reset trying to farm 2 clears to get the Susano weapon. Never even came close to clearing. One time we killed the sword, but the healers were struggling to keep people alive, so when Susano split the arena we wiped anyway.

Yeah, if they expanded the map, or the drop pool, or the types of enemies in the world(redead/gibdoes? skulltulas? wallmasters? etc.?) or anything of the sort, I would probably be more excited for this DLC.

Pack 1 includes:
-45-floor Trial of the Sword. Clear every floor and the Master Sword will always be in its glowing powered up state while usable.
-Hero's Path. The game will keep track of the last 200 hours of playtime and on the map screen show you the path you've taken through Hyrule.
-Hero Mode. Harder difficulty setting. Enemies regain health, all enemies are powered up by one level by default(for instance, Bokoblins that would normally be red are now blue.) And enemies can be higher maximum levels. Also the world will have platforms held up by balloons that can have enemies or treasure on them.
-Travel medallion. Register any one spot in the world as a fast travel location.
-8 new armor sets including Tingle's clothes, Majora's Mask, Phantom Armor and Midna's Helmet.
-Korok Mask. While wearing this mask, if you approach a hidden korok seed, the mask will shake and make noise to alert you.

All of the new items are placed in chests around Hyrule.

Costs $20, which is a pretty steep price, but I believe the next DLC is included in the price? :X I'm not sure, the next DLC, which includes a new dungeon and more story will be out in December.

I think we can clear ZurvEX. We've seen the entire fight after all, it's just a matter of getting the mechanics right. Tethers requires a lot of coordination, and that's more often than not what got us.

If we can't skip soar at 310-314, there's no hope for us XD


Edit: So I've been thinking about learning a tank, but since I've never played a tank in an MMO before I have anxiety about it. I've seen a lot of bad tanks, I don't want to be one of them. Right now I'm leaning towards PLD, I hear it's very newb friendly. Also I need to learn another dps. I've already laid out my grievances with DRG in SB, a lot of preparation for very little dps, and the only real utility it brings now is BL every 3 minutes. Sure I still have disembowel, but that nerf, and Dragon Sight just sucks. On the bright side, DRG aoe is actually even more awesome than it was before, and it was already pretty good.

Yeah the only HW ex primals I ever actually managed to clear were Ravana and Bismarck. >_> Then again, I only started playing during the tail-end of HW, so I had a lot of catching up to do. I actually managed to clear all of the ARR EX primals before I knew unsyncing was a thing XD

Lakshmi is much easier, farmed her all day yesterday, got all my accessories. The main thing with Lakshmi is to know when to use Vril, which is any time she glows purple or she goes to the center of the arena and does an arena wide aoe. Also make sure nobody gets hit by more than one aoe with the crosses. Also also, add phase, get them all down to about 10%, then just keep killing the one that currently has the bubble.

Susano really isn't much more difficult. Just need to know when to lookout for the clouds, and if you're marked, where you need to go. If you get trapped in the gaol, you can mark which one it is so people aren't attacking the wrong rock. You also need people that won't fall into the trap of tunnel vision, because when that happens, thunder will go wrong and you will wipe.
