I'm feeling a bit better. Was texting someone while I was testing a new pen, and I asked for an idea to draw. She says "Draw me :)"..so I expected that so I drew her and she really liked it <_<.

I used to come here to vent, but I'm having a great time knowing new people and the more I socialize and come out of my shell the less I feel like I need this place.

I have some errands to run tomorrow, so I'll see how I feel on Monday and proceed from there.

Feel like I've wasted my time on here, and it's sad seeing users that have been going through the same stuff for years on end and haven't improved. I'm at that point. Nothing's progressed..feel like I'm in a state of limbo.

Plus the alt righters, the amount of hate for anyone who's different (minority, fat, lbgtq etc), Trump trolling out of the wood work. It's absurdity.

I spent too many years on this site.

Nothing has changed for me. There's users here that have been in the same state for years, and I'm exactly at that point.

Tired of privileged posters who have no idea what it's like to be different reiterating everything they hear on T.V like it's fucking funny. Some posters really lack self-awareness of how much of a dick they are being.

Trying to deal with my bi-polar depression, and it's not going well. If anything this site adds more to it. I can't really think of a good reason to visit here anymore outside of a few posters.

I'm going to think it over for a couple of days. If I do if anyone wants to stay in touch then I'll PM you my email. So fucking tired.

And then I backtracked and said "While I thought I hid it better" and that's where I think the convo ended and we didn't reconnect through the crowd anymore that night.

The one that asked for my number is really cold and only texts like 2 words thought she was interested. The other one is really cool..and actually really smart, but that's because I've only talked to her when partying so I assumed she was dumb <_<. The girl I mentioned was a stripper (dunno if she still is) so I kind of let that influence my thoughts more than I should. No matter how hard we try not to be we will still have those shallow moments :p. You're in a much better place than me here tho. I wish I had a chick I was into texting me at all. At this point Ill take a friendship role just to have something to shoot for. Im good at rejection and don't let my hopes influence the reality too much. I don't feel like a girl is doing anything wrong by not wanting to be in a relationship with me. I been on both sides. Honestly if I got a girl to friendzone me now Id just use my position to see if she had any down to earth friends

It's okay. I haven't really hung out with her outside of a party setting and I'm usually sober.

Went out to lunch twice or so with this other chick, but she has a boyfriend and she said they were kinda rocky at the moment. Think she was looking for options, but we're cool and still talk.

Dad was the Authority figure (since she died me and my Dad have gotten a lot closer for what it's worth), so my Mom was the one I always came to with my problems. Your family sounds similar to mine. I think you and your dad getting closer is worth more than you can imagine. You both would definitely feel way worse if you drifted apart after. My dad lives in the same town but we never see each other. I think we both lack the courage and know how to approach the relationship. I don't feel depressed about it though. I kind of just accepted that we might just never have a relationship. Maybe one day Ill find the courage to try and connect.

All my immediate family has become tight knit. My sister and brother were never really antagonistic, but we were never that close either.

I'd try sending him a message. I'd feel bad if I wasn't able to reconcile with someone.

I always wondered if Id get Holiday depression if I wasn't raised in a loosely Jehovah Witness family.

Im 28, single, childless and all my siblings have kids and 2/3 have significant others. But since I never did Holidays they barely register to me. I use to celebrate my birthday but that was basically just not having to buy any of my own alcohol that weekend. Now that I barely drink I don't really even care for people acknowledging my birthday tbh. I want attention when I earned it. Not just cause I slipped out a vagina on that day years ago. If anything my mom should get the attention for giving birth

I know exactly why for my case.

It just hasn't been as special since my Mom died. I hate getting together with family and being reminded that she's not there. It's hard, so I always have to put on my happy face when getting together when I'm dying inside.

It was about the economy! No, technology had progressed to the point where they didn't need the labor of slaves (slaves produced more slaves so why do I need to pay more when I can have for free?).

It was about state rights! States rights to own slaves... the south was afraid the new states were going to be admitted as a free state. It would set a precedent for more states admitted into the union, and eventually slavery would be outlawed in the slave states as well.

You can blame it on colonization, but when you're the second to last country (I think Brazil was last) what does that say? It was a way of life built on racism and an exploitation of labor.

A play by Tenesse William's.

Its a play that's that has themes from playwrights sister that had mental problems and was lobotomized in real life.

She's an introvert and she has a glass menagerie in which she talks to (and both represents her loneliness and fragility of her mind). Her mother is from the south and is deluded to the idea that someone will come and suit her some day (her husband died, and she thinks that her daughter being married would help them financially). Her brother is struggling to keep the family afloat financially and take care of his mentally ill sister he truly cares for. Her mother thinks he can't do anything right.

Anywho

The brother sets her up on a date. His sister takes a shine to the guy, and she opens up (all while the guy is telling her she needs to be more confident and he says she's special). She shows him her menagerie. He shows her how to dance, and he accidentally steps on her glass unicorn (the glass horn falls of and it's normal). Then she finds out he has a fiance and was seeing her as a favor to her brother. She retreats back into her fantasy. The mother gets pissed at the brother thinking he did this on purpose, but he had no idea his friend was engaged. The managerie is broken.

The brother leaves to start his own life. The candle is blown out on stage as the play ends.

Yeah..I re read the ending since it was on my shelf and I'm thoroughly depressed.

Depends on what route you choose. Generic fin is really cheap compared to most prescriptions and generic rogaine (minoxidil) can be had for cheap as well depending where you buy. There's also hair transplants, and other treatments as well which are more expensive but permanent. It'll depend on what route you wanna go.

I think I'll take the Freak route and just go with it.
