It started off with early 2000s action jrpg games that received mixed or bad reviews from critics as they couldn't get the right footing to make a good japanese role playing game..and it didn't get any better when they released a 2006 xbox 360 launch exclusive turned based jrpg which was either panned or average reviewed..that would also be their last turn based jrpg game..
